Sad Strippers
Sad Strippers Theatre company was founded by Laura Brady, Ciara Elizabeth Smyth and Meg Healy. From 2014 to 2016 they toured comedy clubs and festivals in Ireland with their absurdist, comedic sketchs and work in progress plays TRIANGLES and Pour It Out written by award winning playwright, Ciara Elizabeth Smyth with devising elements. Sad Strippers Theatre were hailed as "the future of Irish female comedy" and compared to “early French and Saunders” by the Arts Review Ireland in 2016.
Sad Strippers collaborated with festivals such as The Galway Fringe Festival, Collaborations, Scene + Heard and Knockanstockan Music Festival.
